Takamisakari and Kyokushuzan stare each other down prior to their bout (which Takamisakari won by hikiotoshi). These shows of bravado before bouts bring loud cheers of approval from the spectators. Takamisakari has a reputation for being pathetically weak in keiko, and is arguably the least macho of the sekitori. Perhaps this contributes to his fans love for him, and to the general absurdity of Kyokushuzan and him facing each other with exaggerated machismo.
