Ozeki Kaio called time on a distinguished career during the recent Nagoya Basho, having taken the record
for the most career wins, previously held by Yokozuna Chiyonofuji, on day 5.
Kotoshogiku narrowly failed to seal ozeki promotion in Nagoya despite a valiant attempt, and will have
another go at the Aki Basho. He will be joined in his promotion run by fellow sekiwake Kakuryu. Will
either or both of them succeed on this occasion?
