Morph Corner It's a play basho! Following the cancellation of the Osaka Basho in March due to the match fixing scandal, the Natsu Basho was replaced by the 'May Technical Examination Tournament'. There was no prize-money or sponsorship. Ozeki Baruto got into hot water early in the tournament for saying 'This is not a real basho - it's a play basho' and indicating that he had problems with motivation. Who can blame him?
