Born-and-bred Korean Kasugao and Korean-descended Tochinowaka jointly
led the field in juryo division after the final regulation bouts at the recent
Hatsu Basho, with a three win advantage over their nearest pursuers.
Kasugao prevailed in the ensuing play-off.
