Conflicting stories are emerging about Kokkai and Gagamaru having a night on the town during the recent Hatsu Basho. A
newspaper alleges that they had a drunken brawl with each other at a Tokyo restaurant, while the rikishi themselves
have reported to Rijicho Hanaregoma that they accidentally leaned on something and it broke.
Whatever transpired, it has now been subsumed by scandal of a greater magnitude.
