Young Hokazan, at his highest rank of Sandanme 58 for the recent Natsu Basho, has one of the most impressive shiko
in Ozumo. Sharing a stable with Yokozuna Hakuho, with whom he regularly practices, he has a more than average
workload around the heya. Despite this, he is extremely serious about his practice and drives himself to the limits.
Personable and intelligent, with a pleasant sense of humour, Hokazan is destined to do well. We can look forward
to seeing him perform in the sekitori ranks and, if he continues to apply himself, who knows how much higher he might reach?
