Japanese sumo audiences have traditionally celebrated a particularly unexpected or exciting
result, such as the defeat of a Yokozuna, by throwing their zabuton (cushions) into the ring.
The sumo authorities are attempting to put an end to this custom by making
repeated, vigorous announcements over the public address system.
This doesn't deter the most diehard enthusiast, however.
