Shortly before the recent Natsu Basho a group of Mongolians, including both
Yokozuna and the other rikishi featured, caused great consternation by missing
a training session in favour of a visit to the golf club. Much was made of
the fact that rikishi who would shortly be facing each other in the ring were
socialising together. Kakuryu attended but did not play. Kyokutenho played and won.
