Yokozuna Hakuho entered the Kyushu Basho on a winning streak of 62, seven wins short of the record set by the great
Futabayama in the 1930s. Widely expected to eclipse the record, he faced Kisenosato on day two of the tournament
and was derailed by a combination of his opponent's determination and ferocity and his own nerves.
